Trinity Medical Imaging currently offers the following medical diagnostic services:

2. Digital Ultrasounds

Unfortunately the services that we currently do not offer at this time are:

• Blood Work
• MRI
• CT Scans
• Bone Density
• Digital Cardiology
• ECGs
• Vascular Carotid Ultrasound
• Mammograms

We try our best to accommodate as many patients as we can, which is why we offer walk-in X-rays, same/next day Ultrasound appointments.

Please note that due to the high patient volumes that come to the clinic, wait time may be longer than expected.

To schedule an appointment for a medical diagnostic test:

1. Call our Office: 416-253-5111 
2. Fill out our online appointment request form.
3. Fax your Requisition to our Office: 416-253-5112
4. Request your doctor to fax over your requisition.

The specific expectations for a medical diagnostic procedure will depend on the type of examination being performed. Generally, you will be asked to lie still while a machine or technologist takes images or measurements of your body. 

Some procedures may require you to drink and/or fast to help produce better quality images.

O.H.I.P. requires you to bring your valid health card and requisition completed and signed by your doctor.

Please notify us if you require specific accommodations prior to your examination.

Ultrasound:

1. Abdomen

• Fast for 6 hours prior to your appointment..
• No dairy such as milk, but water is acceptable.

2. Pelvic/Pelvic Transvaginal or Early Pregnancy (Up to 14 Weeks)

• Finish drinking 1 litre of clear fluids 1 hour prior to your appointment for a full bladder.
• DO NOT EMPTY YOUR BLADDER.
• It is crucial that you plan accordingly and keep your bladder full as it can delay your examination and our other appointments that day.

If you are scheduled to do both procedures, please follow each instructions accordingly.

X-Ray: There are no preparations required prior to your examination.
